  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • Optional: chopped fresh parsley for garnish
  • Dipping sauce of choice (ranch or marinara)

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Potatoes

  1. Wash and scrub the potatoes thoroughly.
  2. Cut each potato into 8 wedges by slicing it in half lengthwise, then cutting each half into quarters.

Step 2: Season the Potatoes

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, paprika, oregano, parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Toss the potato wedges in the mixture until evenly coated.

Step 3: Arrange the Wedges

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  3. Place the potato wedges on the baking sheet in a single layer with the skin side down.

Step 4: Add Parmesan

  1. Sprinkle the grated parmesan cheese evenly over the wedges.
  2. Gently press the cheese onto the potatoes to ensure it sticks.

Step 5: Bake to Perfection

  1. Bake the wedges for 35-40 minutes, flipping halfway through for even crispiness.
