Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Dough
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, salt, sugar, and instant yeast.
- Add warm water and olive oil, then mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough for about 5-7 minutes until smooth.
- Cover and let it rise for 30-45 minutes until it doubles in size.
Step 2: Preheat the Oven
- Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
- If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven while preheating.
Step 3: Prepare the Chicken
- In a bowl, mix shredded chicken with BBQ sauce, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and black pepper.
- Toss well to coat the chicken evenly.
Step 4: Roll Out the Dough
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough into a 12-inch circle.
- Transfer to a pizza pan or preheated pizza stone.
Step 5: Assemble the Pizza
- Spread a thin layer of BBQ sauce over the dough.
- Sprinkle half of the mozzarella and cheddar cheese.
- Evenly distribute the BBQ chicken on top.
- Add sliced red onions and the remaining cheese.
Step 6: Bake the Pizza
- Place the pizza in the oven and bake for 12-15 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for 5 minutes.
Step 7: Garnish and Serve
- Sprinkle fresh cilantro on top for added flavor.
- Slice and serve hot!
