For the Buffalo Sauce:
- ½ cup buffalo sauce (like Frank’s RedHot)
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon hot sauce (optional, for extra heat)
- ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
For the Creamy Cheese Sauce:
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup milk
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ¼ cup cream cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
For Garnish:
- ¼ cup chopped green onions
- ¼ cup crumbled blue cheese or ranch dressing
- Chopped parsley (optional)
Instructions
Step 1: Cook the Pasta
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
- Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente.
- Drain and set aside.
Step 2: Cook the Chicken
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Season diced chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Add chicken to the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes, until fully cooked and golden brown.
- Remove from heat and set aside.
Step 3: Make the Buffalo Sauce
- In the same skillet, melt butter over low heat.
- Stir in buffalo sauce, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce (if using), and smoked paprika.
- Simmer for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Step 4: Prepare the Cheese Sauce
- Reduce heat to low and pour in heavy cream and milk.
- Stir in cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, and cream cheese.
- Whisk until the cheese is fully melted and the sauce is smooth.
- Add garlic powder and mix well.
Step 5: Combine Everything
- Add the cooked chicken to the sauce and mix well.
- Toss in the cooked pasta, stirring to coat evenly with the creamy buffalo sauce.
- Simmer for 2-3 minutes to let the flavors blend.
Step 6: Garnish & Serve
- Remove from heat and sprinkle with green onions, crumbled blue cheese, or ranch dressing.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
