Ingredients

- 300g dark chocolate (70% cocoa)
- 100g Medjool dates (pitted, chopped)
- 50g roasted pistachios (crushed)
- 1 tbsp rose water (optional)
- 1 pinch saffron threads (soaked in 1 tsp warm milk)
- Edible gold leaf (for garnish, optional)
- Sea salt flakes (for sprinkling)
Instructions
- Melt Chocolate: Break chocolate into chunks. Melt in a double boiler or microwave (stirring every 20 seconds until smooth).
- Flavor Infusion: Stir rose water and saffron-infused milk into melted chocolate.
- Layer Ingredients: Pour half the chocolate into a parchment-lined tray. Sprinkle dates, pistachios, and a pinch of sea salt. Top with remaining chocolate.
- Decorate: Add gold leaf or extra crushed pistachios on top.
- Chill: Refrigerate for 2+ hours until set.
- Serve: Cut into bars and store in an airtight container.
