Instructions
✅ Step 1: Prepare the Ingredients
Wash and peel the ginger root (and turmeric, if using). Chop them into small pieces to make blending easier. Juice the lemons and oranges if you’re using fresh fruits.
✅ Step 2: Blend the Mixture
Add the chopped ginger, lemon juice, water, and any optional ingredients into a blender. Blend until the mixture is smooth.
✅ Step 3: Strain the Liquid
Pour the blended mixture through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth into a clean bowl or jug. Use the back of a spoon to press out as much juice as possible. Discard the pulp or reuse it for smoothies or tea.
✅ Step 4: Bottle the Shots
Transfer the strained liquid into small airtight bottles or jars. This helps with portion control and makes it easy to grab a shot in the morning.
✅ Step 5: Chill and Store
Refrigerate the ginger shots. They will stay fresh for up to 5-7 days in the fridge. Shake well before each use as natural settling occurs.
