Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Steak

  • Start by patting the steak dry with paper towels. This helps to achieve a perfect sear.
  • Cut the steak into bite-sized cubes and place them in a mixing bowl.
  • Season with salt, black pepper, and paprika, then toss to coat evenly.

Step 2: Heat the Skillet

  • Heat a large skillet or cast-iron pan over medium-high heat.
  • Add 2 tablespoons of olive oil and let it heat until shimmering.

Step 3: Sear the Steak Bites

  • Add the steak bites to the hot skillet in a single layer. Do not overcrowd the pan.
  • Sear for 2-3 minutes on one side, then flip with tongs and cook for another 2 minutes until browned.
  • Remove the steak bites from the pan and set them aside.

Step 4: Make the Garlic Butter Sauce

  • Reduce the heat to medium-low and add the butter to the skillet.
  • Once melted, add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes.
  • Sauté for 30-60 seconds until fragrant, stirring constantly to prevent burning.

Step 5: Coat the Steak Bites in Garlic Butter

  • Return the cooked steak bites to the skillet and toss them in the garlic butter sauce.
  • Cook for another 1-2 minutes, ensuring each piece is well-coated.
  • Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley.
