- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning

- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp water
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Dough
- In a small bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5–10 minutes until frothy.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt.
- Add the yeast mixture and olive oil, then mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 8–10 minutes until smooth.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it, and let it rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
Step 2: Preheat the Oven
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Step 3: Roll Out the Dough
- Roll the dough into a rectangle, about 12×16 inches, on a lightly floured surface.
Step 4: Add the Fillings
- Spread a thin layer of pizza sauce over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border.
- Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese evenly.
- Add pepperoni, sausage, bell peppers, mushrooms, and olives.
- Sprinkle garlic powder and Italian seasoning over the filling.
Step 5: Roll and Seal the Stromboli
- Carefully roll the dough from one long edge to the other, sealing the fillings inside.
- Pinch the seams to secure the roll.
- Transfer the Stromboli to the baking sheet, seam side down.
Step 6: Apply Egg Wash
- Whisk together the egg and water, then brush the mixture over the Stromboli for a golden crust.
Step 7: Bake the Stromboli
- Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
Step 8: Let It Rest and Serve
- Allow the Stromboli to cool for 5–10 minutes before slicing and serving.
