- 2 green onions, sliced
- 1 sheet nori (seaweed), cut into strips
- 1/2 cup cooked chicken or pork (optional)
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions
Step 1: Boil the Eggs
Fill a pot with water and gently add the eggs. Bring to a boil and cook for 6-7 minutes for soft-boiled eggs. Once done, transfer them into a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process. Peel the eggs carefully and set them aside.
Step 2: Prepare the Marinade
In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, mirin, and rice vinegar. Place the peeled eggs into the marinade and let them sit for 1-2 hours. For best results, marinate them overnight in the fridge.
Step 3: Make the Broth
In a saucepan, combine chicken or vegetable broth, soy sauce, miso paste, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, rice vinegar, and sugar. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for 15-20 minutes. Stir occasionally to ensure everything is well mixed.
Step 4: Cook the Noodles
While the broth is simmering, cook the ramen noodles according to the package instructions. Drain the noodles and rinse them with cold water to stop the cooking process.
Step 5: Assemble the Ramen
