Wet Ingredients:

  • 3 tablespoons (45g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup (50g) brown sugar, packed
  • 1 tablespoon (12g) white sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 egg yolk (no whites)

Add-ins:

  • 1/3 cup (60g) chocolate chips (semi-sweet or your favorite kind)
  • Optional: chopped nuts, M&Ms, or sprinkles

Instructions

🍯 Step 1: Preheat the Oven

Set your oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat for easy cleanup.

In a medium bowl, combine the melted butter, brown sugar, and white sugar. Whisk until fully combined and smooth.

Add the vanilla extract and egg yolk only (not the egg white!). Mix well until the mixture is silky and slightly thick.
