  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Juice of 1 lime

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the steak slices, seasoning with chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for 4-5 minutes until the steak is browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, heat the remaining tablespoon of olive oil. Add the sliced peppers and onion, cooking for 4-5 minutes until tender.
  3. Return the steak to the skillet, add the lime juice, and toss to combine with the peppers and onions. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to heat through.
  4. Serve the steak and peppers with warm tortillas, and garnish with fresh cilantro and sour cream if desired.
